The hotel is in a convenient location in downtown Calgary, perfect for exploring the city on foot. The rooms, while showing signs of age and having a musty odor, are adequate for a shorter tourist stay. The service was friendly and accommodating, even providing a fan when needed, but some inconveniences led to a room change. The dining options were average and required several refills, and I found the additional $17 for breakfast a bit steep. The facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
